Using an oxygen-based whitening process (TCF – Total Chlorine Free), the filters are both safe and environmentally responsible. When brewing, they effectively trap harmful coffee oils such as Cafestol and Kahweol, which studies show can raise cholesterol levels. Nearly 99% of these oils remain in the filter, unlike unfiltered or percolated coffee.
